Zaha Hadid Architects

Brand Development / Website Design

Zaha Hadid Architects engaged us to rethink their global website, which no longer reflected the calibre or complexity of the studio’s work. The brief was to create a modern, minimal digital experience and evolve the brand system for online use, balancing a sensitive design legacy with the practical needs of a global practice.

The numbers

Project Summary

  • Budget — £250k GBP

  • Timeline — Multi-year engagement (phased delivery over ~3 years)

  • Locations — Global practice (London HQ + international teams)

  • Deliverables — Digital design system, updated brand guidelines, full website redesign (staging), director-level brand presentation

My role & responsibilities

The PM Challenges

I took over the project part-way through brand identity, carrying the work forward and leading the full website redesign and development phase. Progressing a legacy project with an extended timeline required careful coordination and continuity across teams and phases, and the need to hold a strict timeline and deadlines.

The client team was broad and involved multiple contributors, so I provided structure, alignment and cadence to keep the project moving and maintain a coherent digital direction.

Change Management

As the work progressed, we supported ZHA’s internal change management by preparing materials to help introduce the evolved brand and digital direction to their director team. This included a dedicated leadership presentation to build alignment and ensure clarity ahead of the website’s future launch.

Advancing the brand and website to better reflect the studio’s vision and work

The outcome

A refined brand identity and redesigned website experience, supported by director-level alignment and ready for future rollout.
